Mobile Response and Suicide Prevention Team Leader
Starting Point Behavioral Healthcare
Kayla Woodle is a QPR trainer at Starting Point Behavioral Healthcare. In 2014, she decided to make a change in her life. She had always wanted to help others and so she researched different types of programs that would help fulfil this passion and decided to join the path to become a social worker. In April 2016, she graduated from the University of North Florida with her bachelor’s degree in Social Work and the following Monday she began her master’s program through Saint Leo University. In August of 2017, she graduated with her master’s degree in Social Work and a few weeks later was hired on at Starting Point Behavioral Healthcare. Since then, she has worked in a position that partnered with the Health Department and WIC in Nassau County and then transitioned into working as a full-time behavioral health counselor. In October of 2020, she became the Mobile Response and Suicide Prevention Team Leader at Starting Point, which combined her passion for working with youth and her desire to work towards decreasing the number of friends and family we lose each year to suicide.
