Mental Health First Aid Training

Join our mission to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills to support those experiencing mental health and emotional challenges. Talkable Communities, in partnership with the city of Jacksonville, is excited to offer Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) courses to Duval residents at no cost.

What is Mental Health First Aid?

Mental Health First Aid is an internationally recognized program that teaches you how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. This training provides the skills needed to offer initial help and support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem or experiencing a crisis.
